great for Blood Pressure control
I use this stuff for BP control instead of prescription. 2-3 capsules in the morning and i'm golden. Took 2-3 weeks to build up in my system but after that it's just as effective as pharmaceuticals. Combine this with garlic extract and you've got a great cardio herbal team on your side. This is usually my back-up supplier though. When they have it in stock i usually order the organically certified stuff from mountainroseherbs.com . They've been out for a while though.

Good stuff!
I have been taking these Hawthorn Berries for about 6 years now as recommended by a friend to help with an irregular heartbeat associated with mitral valve prolapse. Now my condition is very mild and the palpitations are more "annoying" than medically alarming, but I have noticed that when I take these my heart beats normally and if I skip several days in a row I may have an extra beat or two from time to time. Don't know if it's true, but I have heard that Hawthorn Berries are prescribed by cardiologists in Europe, and that if you take this for a condition such as mine it won't get any worse. I like this brand because it is "standardized" which means they test each "batch' for potency. Buying the 4 pack from Amazon thru subscribe & save is the cheapest way by far I've found to purchase these!

Good For Your Heart
Even though Hawthorn Berries apparently have no scientific support for their healing powers, I am convinced they have stopped my heart palpitations. I try to take at least four of the capsules daily. I have bought them in a variety of ways, but so far this is the least expensive way. And very Amazon quick, as well.

Excellent heart tonic
This is an excellent tonic for strengthening the heart muscle. I know someone who was taking congestive heart medication and he began replacing it with this several years ago, and now he is fully off of the congestive heart medication and takes this instead. Naturally one should see a cardiologist for any changes in medications, but he credits this herbal supplement as the turning factor in his heart's health. I take it for strengthening of my heart as well. I like Nature's Way because the company has a good reputation for producing quality nutritional supplements. It's also competitively priced while providing a quality product.

Hawthorn Berries
I have been using this product after learning of it from a book called God's Medicine Is Best by author Linda Wise. Ever since for any pain in my chest I take one or two capsules as the author says and the pain is gone. I thought I am gonna die soon because of this pain. No more I think so, life is enjoyable to me again! The brand is what I found to be the best.

Hawthorn Gold
I would like to preface this review with, Before you begin taking any dietary supplement consult your physician. The reason that is important here other than the obvious) is that if you are already on blood pressure medication and you added Hawthorn Gold into the mix, it could lower your blood pressure further than you may like to go. This supplement was actually for my mother. Within about 3 days of beginning to take the Hawthorn, her blood pressure was in the area of 90/65. We had previously consulted her physician and knew we may have to make adjustments such as potentially lowering her dose of prescription blood pressure medication to back off the synergistic effect a bit. So, in essence what I am saying is that Hawthorn Gold seems to be a very legit supplement for blood pressure and cardio-vascular heath. BE SURE to consult your physician to create a plan that's right for you!

A good stuff to prevent dizziness
I always used Russian-made Hawthorn tincture in the past when due to lack of the sleeping or over-training I was developing some dizziness. I was glad to discover that this great plant is available on Amazon as pills. It really helps to stabilize blood pressure, prevent that dizziness which is coming from over-exhaustion.

great product
started taking these as a replacement for my blood pressure meds. Took about 2 weeks to be effective. My dosage ended up being 2 caps in the morning and 1 in the evening before bed.I've since switched to Mountain Rose Herbs version of hawthorne caps. They're slightly cheaper and 100% organic. I get the same results with those caps.
